The Naranjo Museum of Natural History needed a site that would generate excitement, accept donations, and build awareness for the museum while it was under construction. The site also needed to be versatile enough to grow with the museum once construction was complete.

Website Design

Building on the NMNH brand we created a design that was fun and inspired by the child-like excitement and wonder that dinosaurs evoke. The website was developed using the Expression Engine CMS system, giving the museum staff a lot of freedom to edit their site.

Site Interior

In addition to focusing on building excitement for visiting the museum, we wanted to address what the museum would bring to the small town of Lufkin, TX and the paleontology community as a whole. Thus, we worked with the museum to address what NMNH would bring to education, the community, as well as to advanced research projects.

Timeline and Exhibits

The website has many interesting features, such as an interactive timeline detailing the history of the museum. We also provided the museum with photoillustrations for their upcoming events and exhibits.
